A very warm welcome back to the latest edition of the Serum Newsletter! The holidays are coming and the year is coming to an end — we hope you’re doing well!
Today we have a lot to cover — as mentioned before many new projects are starting to build on Serum and we’re proud of their efforts. In this edition of the Serum Newsletter, we’ll be taking a look at some of the latest developments of these projects as well as our usual stuff.
Pools!
We’ve talked about the latest product on Serum in the previous newsletter — Pools. Pools are in essence are a mechanism for a group of users to take collective action.
Bonfida x Pools
Bonfida has been the first to make something of Pools — starting with a Serum Ecosystem Pool that allows participants to gain exposure to a basket of assets related to the Serum Ecosystem.
The Ecosystem Pool highlights the composability of the Serum space and also allows participants to be the first to own $LQID the native token of Pools! The Ecosystem Pool by Bonfida also serves as a stepping stone toward more innovative ways of utilizing Pools — what if we could use Pools to crowdsource funds for other projects in the Serum Ecosystem?
Bonfida x Pools x MAPs x Oxygen — The VC Pool Series
Yes, that’s a lof of “x”s, but bear with me. It’s just composability — look it up. Introducing the VC Pool series — starting with MAPS and Oxygen
In short, these pools allow participants to purchase $MAPS and $OXY at a 10% discount from IEO price — but to participate, users have to burn $FIDA as these Pools were launched by Bonfida!

Oxygen Alpha
