Anchor: A Framework for Solana Development
*
this is under active development with an expected finalized launch on Feb 15th, expect breaking changes.

Anchor is a framework for Solana’s Sealevel runtime providing several convenient developer tools.

  • Rust eDSL for writing Solana programs
  • IDL specification
  • TypeScript package for generating clients from IDL
  • CLI and workspace management for developing complete applications

If you’re familiar with developing in Ethereum’s Solidity, Truffle, web3.js or Parity’s Ink!, then the experience will be familiar. Although the DSL syntax and semantics are targeted at Solana, the high level flow of writing RPC request handlers, emitting an IDL, and generating clients from IDL is the same.

Serum Swap v2

A sneak peek of the upcoming launch of Serum Swap v2. This version features one-sided liquidity provision, pool withdrawal flexibility, a bonding curve, and detailed pool information.

The beauty of single-sided liquidity provision is the ability to claim LP rewards while only depositing one asset.

Another benefit of Serum Swap is that depositing and withdrawing tokens from a pool cost fractions of a cent. This allows users to be LP’s without large capital requirements.

A satisfied common user request was a liquidity provider dashboard, with a breakdown of all the pool and personal stats.

Using the Swap v2’s Constant Price bonding curve makes launching a token sale incredibly simple. The user creates a single-sided pool with their token, then sets a USDC or USDT price per token, and has simulated an ICO.

This version uses a percentage slider or input form to allow desired withdrawal amounts from pools.
