Welcome back to the latest edition of the Serum Newsletter! We’re 5 days out from the end of the first yield program for Serum Swap, and we hope you’ve read the Ultimate Vision of Serum written by a group of the lead advisors in the Serum ecosystem. Today we have a big announcement from the Serum team, an updated info page for Serum Swap to show-off, a teaser of on-chain lockups, and a 6-part YouTube series for Serum fans.
Updated ‘My Pools’ Page
The “Info” page table contains the amount of tokens in the pool and volume for the last 24 Hours including the ability to see all the pools displayed through cards.
An Agreement from the Serum Team
The original members of the Serum team have all agreed to the following:
- For the next 7 years, they will aggregate their SRM actions in a pool
- They will vote on how the pool behaves
- The general guideline is that if the pool does decide to liquidate SRM, it will likely limit itself to small single digits of its total size each year for the first few years at least — in the end it’s controlled by governance
- Any buying/selling will be pro-rata for all the participants in the pool
- This covers every single original team member and has been agreed to by each of them
